Summary
When exporting a DXF file from Match, the labels may not appear in AlphaCam. This happens because the Text import option inside AlphaCam is disabled.
Problem
The client exports a DXF from Match with labels enabled, but AlphaCam does not display the labels when opening the file.
Cause
AlphaCam has a specific Text option that determines whether labels/annotations are imported from DXF.
Even if Show text in DXF is enabled in Match, labels will not appear if this setting in AlphaCam is unchecked.
How to Fix
Follow these steps inside AlphaCam:
Open AlphaCam
Go to File > Open
Select the exported DXF file.
On the first import screen, locate the Text option
Check/enable the Text option
Continue opening the file normally
After this, the labels will be displayed correctly in the imported project.
Additional Validation
Before exporting, confirm that Match is configured correctly:
Settings > Match > Match Settings > Export DXF Settings > Show text in DXF
